Why this workspace and what’s next?

I’d always loved the Echo Building, since its life as the Print Room restaurant and was really excited to see it had become a co-working space. My team love working here and I’m now launching a new business, focused on hospitality interiors. I’m partnering with another local interior designer and good friend, Sonia Mundey of Yellow Book Home to launch Copper Blue Interiors (all our businesses have a colour in the name, I just noticed). Copper Blue will be focused on hospitality interiors, ranging from holiday accommodation to luxury B&Bs to boutique hotels. Sonia and I plan to grow the team and have a dedicated office  (heck maybe even a whole floor) at This Workspace in the coming years. I love This Workspace’s motto - You Grow, We Grow, and love the friendly atmosphere and energy of the space.

I’ve run Coral Interiors, a residential interior design firm, since 2015, following a career in IT in London. We work mostly with homeowners in Dorset and Hampshire, but increasingly with holiday cottages and luxury Airbnb's, and feel very privileged to work live and work in Dorset. I’m often on the road, but was increasingly needing a space to work from and somewhere to meet clients and suppliers. This Workspace has been the perfect space.
