After taking part in the Clipper Round the World yacht race and sailing thousands of miles off-shore, savvy navvy founder, Jelte Liebrand, learnt how difficult navigation can be. We know how annoying it is to spend hours updating charts, downloading weather forecasts, predicting boat speeds and avoiding squalls. It takes hours and hours of planning, valuable time that could be spent enjoying a day out sailing.
The savvy navvy concept was born to solve this problem. To make sailing navigation safer and easier than ever before, enabling people to spend more time sailing and less time planning to. As Jelte says, “Nobody should need to spend hours plotting routes, let alone worry about 'getting it right'.”
Having over 20,000 savvy navvy users across more than 100 countries around the globe. ]
